Well, family members, we have plenty going on throughout the summer this year! Keep an eye on the calendar for new additions, but here's a few of them.

The fun one will be at the Westcott Theater, July 25, when we'll be participating in a Summer Battle of the Bands sponsored by Monster drinks. We'll be shooting video of the show, so come on out and be immortalized on the web! Tix are only $8, and more details are in the calendar listing.

If you live south of Syracuse, you'll get to see us do the whole show at Argyle's Easy Street on Rt. 11 in Cortland July 26th, a great joint with great clientele (and quite biker-friendly!).

The BIG one may well be that we're opening for Dickey Betts & Great Southern at Papermill Island park in Baldwinsville August 7; we know that's going to be a terrific show. We'll open at 7, be there and have a blast.

There will be more, of course, heck there already is, but you can keep track with just a click on the calendar page. See you out there, folk!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61716472014-06-09T20:00:00-04:002022-05-22T12:35:15-04:00What's happening (is plenty!)

Greetings, Family Members!

Well, top of the list is we're going to be at the early entry date for HARLEY RENDEZVOUS CLASSIC in Pattersonville, NY WEDS. JUNE 18 playing for all the bikers who come early and party hard! Hope you'll be coming out to the big event - see our CALENDAR page for details. It's always a big time!

Later this month we'll be playing at a new venue (kinda for them, definitely for us), BUCKET BBQ on Rt. 20 (3193 E. Genessee St.) in Auburn NY. These folk have great southern style barbeque and we're gonna liven up the joint!

There will be lots more coming this summer, keep on checking the website and our facebook page for new events - like DIO DAY in Cortland!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61716462014-03-04T19:00:00-05:002020-01-24T08:57:40-05:00We got stuff!

We got stuff and it's goin' on!

Greetings, Family members and sorry not to have been posting much since last fall. I guess the cold weather has messed up my fingers! But we're still playing and the calendar is filling up fast as it does most years. Apart from a gig in Mattydale we had to abort thanks to the Venezuelan Beaver Flu attacking Dave, things have been pretty good so far! Thanks to all our fans who were applauding at the Super Swap, and down at Easy Street. Speaking of which, there's good news for our fans south of Syracuse - we're going to be playing several times during summer at Easy Street, so feel free to stop out and rock out!

We have gigs up north as well, including a new event this fall in Alex Bay, STREET THUNDER. Apparently Cousin Jake is powerful enough to actually upset local governments, but fear not! All we wanna do is ROCK! We'll also be kickin' out the jams at this year's Thunder at the Forge at one of our favorite roadhouses, Slickers. And closer to home, we'll be rocking in March at Lew's in North Syracuse and we hope to rebook at the Mattydale VFW hall, too (no, really, Dave was running a fever, sick on two chairs, holy mackerel).

So, saddle up, family members! It may be a cold winter, but the hot year is coming!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61716442013-10-12T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:39-05:00Fun in Laurens, and more

Hey, Family members! Thanks to everyone who came out to Edgewood Country Club for our show last night. We had a great time and we're pretty sure you all did, too! We're looking forward to coming back next season and doing it again. And thanks, of course to Mike not just for hiring us but telling us the history of the clubhouse. The barn wood is around 150 years old and the original roadhouse (!) was built in the 1950's. Had quitre a reputation, it's said. We're happy to help continue it!

We've got our next gig closer to the home turf - we'll be at JP's Tavern in Baldwinsville on the 19th. Come on out and we'll have a real good time!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61716432013-09-29T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:39-05:00Goings on

Hi there, kids! Yer cousin is still out here rockin'! Glad to see everyone who came out to the VFW in Mattydale, we got lots of reports about what a great time everyone had. They're sure to ask us back soon, we hope we'll see more family members there!

For those just west of Syracuse, we'll be cooking at JP's Tavern in October, just have a look at the calendar section here in the website for details. There are more gigs on the calendar into November.

Alas, not all is good news - Dave's mom passed away last week after a long struggle, and anyone who cares to offer up condolences feel free to leave a note in the guestbook, or on the band Facebook page.

As we head into winter, please be careful on the roads at all times and pay particular attention to all our brothers & sisters on motorcycles. We want to see 'em all at our bike event gigs! See you at the next one, kids.

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61716422013-02-10T19:00:00-05:002020-01-24T08:57:39-05:00Fun at Super Swap

Well, Saturday was definitely a great time on the state fairgrounds, watching the ladies dance and the crowd whoop it up at the 2013 Super Swap. Thanks to everyone who showed support, and to KOB for the harp solos and once again getting us booked there. We hope we entertained one and all!

By the way, we should mention that we have a DVD now with parts of our live show at the Westcott Theater available for sale at gigs and online - we gave our all at one of the finest showcases in Central New York, and it can be yours direct from COUSIN JAKE.

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61716412013-02-06T19:00:00-05:002020-01-24T08:57:39-05:00OOOOoooohh, the secret gig!

OH YEAH kids, we're biting our tounges trying not to let out what we've booked for you in March! Stay tuned for the big announcement!

Meanwhile, we're lining up a nice array of gigs for the next couple of months, have a look at the Calendar link to see what's coming up.

We had a great time playing for the folk in West Seneca, just this side of Buffalo, for the ABATE dinner. Even the people who thought we were too loud came around by the end of the day (us?? too LOUD? Whoda thunk it??) and we all had a real good time! Thanks to Buffalo/Erie ABATE for inviting us! Hope we can track down a few of the photos that were shot while we played!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61716402013-01-11T19:00:00-05:002020-01-24T08:57:39-05:00Hey, the world didn't end! Time to party!

Hey, kids! Yer Cousin is happy to announce the planet is still here and so are all the cool places we're playing! Come on out to Lew's Sports Bar Jan. 19; Stop into the 2013 SuperSwap on Saturday for our set; if you're south of Syracuse, come to the Cabin Fever Party at Easy Street in Cortland, or even further south at Seeber's in March! Our year is once again booking up, so if you'd like us to play your party or favorite watering hole, tell the manager there to visit the website or call Dave! Get a look at our calendar for all the details on gigs.

Nobody knows what made Cousin Jake so irate — maybe it's because none of the members are actually named Jake — but whatever the reason, it's clear that the effects of the madness have reached a boiling point.

The three-piece Syracuse-based band has been raging on the stage for at least 18 years, but its current iteration has been locked in for the last six.

"We're a high-energy band that like to play for the audience," founding member and lead guitarist Dave Cook said. "We try to play as many shows as we can and just make sure everybody's having a good time."

Along with Cook's guitar skills, Cousin Jake whips local and nationwide audiences into frenzies with bassist Bob Volk's growling vocals and the beats of Don "the Angry Drummer" Gillette.

Cook said attendees to the band's Saturday night show at Keg's Canal Side Event Center in Jordan can expect a fine mixture of classic rock mainstays and the band's original songs.

That fundamental inspiration is clear in Cousin Jake's playing, which features a blues-leaning mixture of smoothly sliding guitar licks and smoky voices that at times reach classic Allman Brothers levels.

With its cruising, down-and-dirty style, it's no surprise that the band is a hit with the biker scene, and over the years has played some of the bigger motorcycle festivals.

In 2001, Cousin Jake released its first CD, "Rock and Roll That Relates," followed by "Upstate Boogie" and "Flying Machine." A live recording is also available for purchase on the band's website.

We have to thank all the fine folk and family members who came to Thunder In Old Forge this year and had the joint jumping with us at Slickers last night. Bikers from New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Vermont and of course all over New York were in town to rock out and have great rides thruout the Adirondacks, and we had a terrific time playing for you all! The walls was shakin', the earth was quakin', my mind was achin' but we weren't fakin'!!! Thanks again to Gary and Sandy, Cindy & Woody, all the people who stopped and said hello and thanked us for the tunes, and of course the staff at Slickers, who work hard to keep the party rockin'! THANK YOU !!!

Hiya, Family members! We have a dynamic end-of-summer batch of shows about to happen. This coming weekend will be huge, which, if you've already read the calendar list like the good doobies you are, you well know. But just in case, and no I don't mean Paul Case's son, here's the quick rundown.

Friday 9/2 we're playing a-way-up-north in Sandy Pond at the renowned Sandy Pond Steakhouse, on the lake just west of Sandy Creek. Man, that's a lot of sand, but also great steak and hot rox from Yours Truly. Saturday we'll be in Elbridge rocking out a party for Mr. Wilkinson, our pal. And Sunday we'll be headin' down South (but not still runnin' today) to one of our favorite roadhouses, Seeber's in Smithville Flats.

So, we hope that no matter where you are, we'll be playing for you somewhere this weekend! It'll be full-tilt-bozo rock all weekend long, so drag it on out to see us!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61716302011-07-10T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:39-05:00MASSIVE AWESOMENESS

Greetings, Family! We have quite the set of gigs coming up and we hope you'll indulge yourselves and attend what will be memorable events. Full details are on our Calendar page, but here's the quick and dirty: We are opening for KASHMIR, the most acclaimed Led Zeppelin tribute band at Budweiser Amphitheater, Papermill Island in Baldwinsville on July 30; AND we will be opening for LES DUDEK, renowned guitar master who stepped in to replace no other than Duane Allman after his tragic death, playing the Westcott Theater August 4. These will be terrific shows and we're really pumped to play in these great venues. Don't let your summer go without seeing these performances - you'll be weeping to your grandchildren how you missed out! Check out the rest of our calendar while you're there, we have more where these came from!

Oh, and in the gossip column: how come no one has said anything about Bob and his hat? Not to mention the spiffy black duds. Come on, folks, somebody's got to blow the dust off the guestbook every so often. :)

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61716292011-06-28T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:39-05:00Having a great time - wish you were here!

Well, folk, our last few gigs have been terrific thanks to all of our audience members. Your enthusiasm is what makes this all worthwhile. The Works, the still-being-renovated former Jordan Grill is shaping up into a fine biker hangout, with plenty of parking and a beautiful hostess, Margaret, who works the bar with a friendly smile for everyone who stops in. We were packed in pretty tight but managed to rock the house (without annoying the village police)! We'll be back out there July 8th, and hope you'll stop by to have some fun.

Of course, we had a real blast rockin' out on the big stage in A-Bay for the 1000 Islands River Run, and from the reactions we got from the crowd there, they were having quite a party, too. We were happy to hear Mary Compeau - the gorgeous engineer of most of the big bike events in A-Bay - announce that next year the NY HOG rally will be held there, two weeks after next year's River Run, making two giant events for the Bay that you can take that fine ride up I-81 to attend. WAY COOL, and kudos to Mary. And hey, not only Mary but Sharon Tuttle and Lisa Morrill were featured in this month's Fast Lane Biker! Our own pinup girls, not bad!

Stay tuned, folk, because all the great parties are happening where COUSIN JAKE is playing!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61716282011-05-18T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:38-05:00Big Doings for Summer

Hey there, folk, we're going to rock out like mad starting this weekend! Check the calendar page (like you know you should) for the upcoming gigs, and you'll find we're playing Taudy's Daughter's benefit AND the traveling Fallen Bikers' Memorial Wall run Saturday and Sunday, and we'll be at the upcoming 1000 Islands River Run, Thunder In The Forge, and papermill Island just to name a few! WooHOO! You know it's time to get out and party, so come on out and rock with us!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61716272011-03-14T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:38-05:00Spring is... springing!

Hey, there, Family members! Bet you can smell that change in the weather and you're getting the astroshield onto the wheels! Can't wait to see everybody out at our next gig!

Summer is booking up like crazy, but if you want to have us play YOUR shindig, just call Dave and let us know. We'll rock out for you. And hey, if anyone took pictures OR VIDEOS of us WITH BLACKFOOT, email them to Dave and we'll put them up on the website, and credit your graphic talents. And thanks to everyone who came out for the Jean Benedict memorial party, that was great.

Well, family members, we're gonna knock the snow off ya if you come on down to the Easy Street Tavern in Cortland - we'll be blasting away at the Cabin Fever Party sponsored by Iron Breed RC, at 185 Homer Ave., from 1 to 5. Come on down!

Greetings, Family members! Yer Cousin is already booking up the coming summer and we'll be rocking out for you as hard as ever! We'll have the 1000 Islands getting HOT for the Blessing of the Bikes, and again for the TIRR; already a couple of times up at the Wander Inn, and we'll be burning up local joints in Syracuse as well. If you'd like us to come and play YOUR event, party, or watering hole just call Dave and we'll do some smokin'! Meantime, keep an eye on the Calendar page for our upcoming gigs.

Hello, Family members, we're still rockin' and we hope you'll join us!

Just in case you happen to be one of those who lives on Facebook, first I have to tell you to go outside and get some sun. You look pale. But right after that, look us up and friend us! While THIS website is where most of the info, music and photos are, you never know who's going to do what on Facebook. We'll accept most friend requests, we only take exception to those of you who stampede the women and rape the cattle. You have to have some standards...

We've got gigs booking up as usual, so stop by often, smart off in the guestbook, and look around. Thanks!

Hiya, folks,

All of us here in COUSIN JAKE want to once again thank all of our Family for your support through the year, and wish all of you a very happy holiday season and very happy new year. We'll be happy to rock out for you next year, too!

THANKS from Dave, Bob and Don to all our Family Members new and old who have supported us for another year! 2010 has been great (and not over yet!!), thanks to everyone coming out and partying with us. We had plenty of parties and a few big venues we blasted away, especially the Inner Harbor (again!) and more than a few times in the north country. Thanks to everyone who came out, everyone who asked us to play, and all our actual families and friends who've been supportive and patient with us. We'll keep on rocking for you, folks, and you should talk to Dave about next year - it will start filling in fast! A happy and peaceful holiday season and a prosperous and joyful new year!

Folk, we have another situation that took place just recently to a brother musician. Here is the email I received from Deb Tafel at Bikers United.

From: Deb Tafel [mailto:djt13212@yahoo.com]
Sent: Tuesday, November 16, 2010 10:43 AM

Subject: Notice: stolen guitars

Hi all
I was asked to share this info with any bands that I may know. Please help if you know anything!!!

John Luber lost 7 instruments. Whether you know John or not, please forward
this to every musician you know. (He presently plays in 2 Kool 4 Skool - rfv)

John Luber had 7 instruments stolen from his studio on his property in
Oswego last evening. There were 4 high end (2 natural, 1 Black and 1 Red
Schecters (strat style) guitars. Very recognizable as not the run of the
mill Schecters. One had a rosewood board., a couple of High end Strats
tobacco sunburst and a custom shop highly figured Jade green Les Paul with a
custom shop label on the back of the head stock... If you see anything that
even looks like it could be something special whether you are in a store or
you see someone playing one, Call John at (315) 529-2475 or the Oswego
county Sheriffs office at (315) 349-3307.

Thanks very much..

SO - keep your eyes open and your phone handy, folks. Stealing a player's guitar is like stealing a cowboy's horse - he may not die quick, but it'll be killing him anyway.

Folks, we wanted to thank everyone who came out to the charity event at the Locker Room. It was a great time and, thanks to those who took the time to attend, the event raised enough to feed over 200 families a full Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings. Kudos to everyone who worked hard on planning and running the dinner as a combined effort of several bike clubs and organizations, and helped make this a success, and of course to all who came to party and donate. Thanks, folks. We're glad we could help even if it was last minute.

Hiya, family members!

We just want to let you know that we're very grateful for everyone on our mailing list, especially when you come out to hear us play! But there has been an oddity that has popped up from time to time, and that's the email address that fails. So, if you're on our list and hate those witty and hysterically funny emails we've been sending out, just let us know - you don't have to go get another address just because I told the ugly dog joke again. BUT if you change providers, or got bored with ImSoWonderful@wippydoo.argh and decided to change to SoBadassItHurts@deathbystereo.tv, for example, then just remember to let us know here at the website. We'd hate for you to miss out! And yes, Joann, you DO need to clear out the inbox, it's been overloaded for MONTHS!!!

So, just to pretend to be clear: if your email address fails more than four times, we'll have a sad little moment or two and delete it from the mailing list. If you get a new address, PLEASE let us know so we can update you and keep you informed about all the spectacular gigs and goings-on of yer favorite cousin, COUSIN JAKE!!! Thanks, folks!!

Family members, we swiped this message off Facebook, where it is rapidly getting distributed throughout the CNY musical community. In case the names don't click for you, this refers to the family of Paul Case, of Case & Davidson fame.

********

Hi Everone. I'm trying the help spread the word the terrible accident that occurred this past weekend [9/24-26? -rfv] which resulted in severely burning friends of mine, Paul & Julie Case's, daughter Katie. A benefit will take some time to organize to help them defray costs such as money for travel expenses back and forth to the hospital in Boston, gas money, food etc. Both Paul & Julie will be out of work or missing work while the normal household bills continue: electric, fuel oil, etc. If everyone who wanted to help could just send them a check, even $10, it all adds up. And this would be quicker than waiting for a benefit, and more effective right now. Their address is P.O. Box 921, Old Forge NY 13420. Hope you can get this out to some friends. Please help spread the word and pray for their daughter, Katie, and family.

********

Folks, this sort of tragedy is a terrible time for any family, and it's the more poignant for musicians when it's one of our own. Feel free to investigate but please consider donating, even if just a little. There are rumors of a benefit in the early planning stages, but the Cases are hurting now. Thanks. (Bob)

Hey there, Family members! We've been kinda busy but managed to avoid paying attention to the website besides, so we're sorry and are ready to take our spankings, ma'am. But I digress.

We're still here and still rockin' out, folks. Just remember that all the up to date info can be had right here on our calendar pages. and plenty of gossip and videos on our Facebook page - which Dave updates a little more often than I get here to blow the dust off. Come on out and see us - we've got a few more bar gigs than usual so there will be lots of chances to get out and boogie!

Yeah, it's not bragging if it's true, folks.

Bob and his coworkers at the day job from Lockheed once again not only rocked out in the Landmark Theater for the 2010 Rockin' the Red Cross, they WON! Defense Mechanism took first place out of thirteen competitors and blew away the judges and the audience alike, walking home with the trophy and an as-yet to be determined gig in the summer. No small credit goes to Bob's singing talent - ONE MORE CONFIRMATION that Cousin Jake will ROCK YOU!

Meantime, our calendar is filling fast. We're booking from April thru August, and September is warming up on the griddle. Keep an eye on our calendar page for all the latest and greatest! We'll have more than a few gigs at bars open to the general public among all those events and long-distance gigs, fear not.

Yep indeed, we have some new photos on the webpage from the Bikers United Winter Heat event, go ahead and have a look (you'll have to page through the first batch, there's a link). IF ANYONE HAS MORE PICS they'd like to share, not necessarily of us but the goings-on, too, by all means send them to the website. We'll post 'em if we like 'em and we'll give credit where we can!

There's plenty coming up this month, so keep an eye on our calendar page. We'll be playing Mondo's benefit the 21st, Bob is going to strut on the Landmark stage again for the Red Cross Fundraiser the 26th, and then we'll be rockin' some more at Beginning II! Make sure you're there to boogie!

Meantime, keep rockin', everybody, and we'll see you out there!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61716092010-01-23T19:00:00-05:002020-01-24T08:57:37-05:00You like to look...

Heh heh heh, so go to our photo page and have a look at the shots from the Nightstalkers' MC party. And if anyone else has fun photos of the goings on, feel free to forward them to cousinjake@a-znet.com and we'll put 'em up (if they're fun enough!).

And don't forget to keep an eye on the calendar, we're adding gigs every week. If there's somewhere you want us to play, tell the folks at the joint to talk to Dave! We'll rock their socks off!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61716082010-01-17T19:00:00-05:002020-01-24T08:57:37-05:00This is becoming a habit...

And it's not a good habit - we keep offering apologies! Yes, by Finagle's Law (The perversity of the universe tends toward a maximum.) we managed to get our gig at Joe's Runway 28 not only posted on our website but also all three local papers with calendars - the Post, the SNT and Table Hopping - just before the bar closed. Thankfully, this was not our fault; hells, it wasn't even the bar owner's fault. The problem was he didn't own the building. If you've ever rented from a very interesting landlord, you can do the math real quick.

SO - for anyone who planned to stop down and help us rock the joint, thanks and our apologies. For those still hoping, we have more gigs on the way - just have a look at the calendar page!

AND we want to thank everyone at the party Saturday and especially our hosts, the Nightstalkers MC, for having us out at Beginning II for a great time. We're hoping for photos of the party so we can post some on our webpage - say, if YOU took some good shots, email the good stuff to Dave (cousinjake@a-znet.com) and we'll immortalize them on the Interwebs. Doesn't just have to be band photos, all the goings-on could be way cool to put up. At least one of Strings jamming with the band would be very cool to have! Thanks, folk!

AND happy Martin Luther King day to one and all, and remember that rights aren't something you get handed to you, they're something you have to defend.

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61716072010-01-10T19:00:00-05:002020-01-24T08:57:37-05:00Big fun at Big Bay

Hey there, Family members! Sorry we didn't post our gig for last Saturday night at Big Bay, but it was birthday parties and we weren't told whether or not it was a surprise. So, as the general said when the troops disappeared, we opted for discretion. BUT, thanks for the great time, all you partygoers, we had a terrific time and Bob managed to sing despite his relentlessly goopy lungs. As for all you guys that Dave told to tell him to go to the doctor, bite me. The voice is still there. Any more green tea and the poor schmuck will turn Japanese. :)

But don't forget this coming weekend - check our calendar for TWO - count 'em! - TWO gigs on Friday and Saturday. Clean the cobwebs off the snowshoes and get ready to stomp.

Family, we all in Cousin Jake just want to thank you for another terrific year of playing for you all. We had a heck of a year, covered a lot of distance, and played quite a few big events, including the Taste of Rochester, the Inner Harbor, Budweiser Amphitheater, and Empire Court at the State Fair. Bob won a best vocalist award at the Rockin' the Red Cross event. Our new CD came out this year, FLYING MACHINE, and we've been happy to see lots of interest and sell plenty of copies (and now it's posted on CDBaby for online buyers). Every audience we play is important to us and every show we give it our best. Thanks for coming out and we hope we'll see you again soon (hold January 15th for Joe's Runway 28 in Mattydale)! Remember, if it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing. Have a groovy new year!

Hey, there, brethren and cistern! OK, so my terminology is poor, but I just want to thank all my fellow IUE local 320 members for a terrific time at the holiday party, particularly Mike Labulis and Bob Walter for asking us back. We had a great time playing for you and I hope you had at least as much fun as we did. I'm guessing that was the case since we got asked to play an extra set! Not to mention the guy who practically somersaulted on the dance floor (we're sure he did that on purpose!) and everyone who was singing along. And to all our Family members, have a safe and happy holiday season and we'll see you all soon!

The chill, that is. Yer Cousin is booking up for the rest of the year and beyond, so keep an eye on our calendar page. Of course, if you need some extra heat in your life, we'll be happy to play for YOU, too - in which case, check the contact page from our list of links for how to call Dave!
We're also getting word about a benefit on DEC. 6th at Mac's Bad Art Bar to which we've been invited to play, more as we find out details; and we may just be stopping by Buke's Xmas party to jam, you never can tell... :)

Well, it's getting chilly and the hogs are mostly back in the garages, but don't let that make you think we're not playing! Keep us in mind for your Fall equinox dance, your Xmas party, or your any-old-excuse-to-rock-out party. There will be parties, there will be events, there are plenty of watering holes we could be playing at if all you fans go ask the barkeep "Why the !*&^#! aren't you hiring Cousin Jake?!? Have you lost your MIND??!?!"

Hey, family members and all the crazies digging the DIRT - we just want to thank Vinnie, Donnie, Frank, Mike, Michelle, Bobco, and everyone who made us feel welcome at Super Dirt Week and the VOODOO LOUNGE, and all the hearty partying going on. What a riot! We had as much fun as ever and special thanks to all the fans thoughtful enough to put a dollar or two in the "hat" when it went around, and bought CD's and shirts. Despite the below 40 weather and the smoke inhalation (no, not the good kind, yah mon) we were rockin' hot as we could. It was a fine time and we look forward already to next year!

Hey, folks, we got some good lines from Mark Bialczak on his Listen UP blog, go have a looksee: http://blog.syracuse.com/listenup/2009/10/rev_it_up_with_cousin_jake_at.html
Thanks, man! We're trying our best to bring it at every show - of course, we're copping out for tonight (Friday) at DIRT week because the weather will be a little too Syracuse-like. So wouldn't you just know we'd get press about it?!?! Vinnie called us and suggested we not get rained out, wait til Saturday and nicer conditions. So we will, but we'll ROCK twice as hard!

Greetings, Family members! Here we have the text of a review of our CD, FLYING MACHINE, taken from UpstateLIVE magazine, Vol. 2, Issue 6.
Cousin Jake - Flying Machine
By Greg Jackson
During my meet up with Cousin Jake at IslandFest 2009 before their opening set with Kashmir, guitarist Dave Cook dropped copies of their three CD’s on me. Not having heard them previously, I only had their live performance to go by and that left me with great anticipation to hear how the songs translated to the studio. Cousin Jake lit up the Budweiser Amphitheater that night with their blues/rock originals, and a very interesting combination of covers illustrating their influences and musical tastes. From Robin Trower's "Little Bit Of Sympathy" to Dave’s rendition of [Jimi Hendrix’s] "The Star Spangled Banner/Purple Haze" it's pretty easy to tell the guitar school he attended.
Cousin Jake features the guitar pyrotechnics and vocals of Dave Cook, lead vocals and bass by Bob Volk, and Donny Gillett on drums and vocals. The latter two join(ed) up with Dave in 2006 to round out the three man line-up. Dave, a founding member, has been part of for 16 years. In this style each position had better be pretty strong and Cousin Jake is no exception to this rule. Live, each man takes his turn at the front of the mix. Donny's steady timing rolls along with Bob's rumbling bass lines giving Dave plenty of space to cut his six string prowess loose. Bob's strong vocals and stage presence balance nicely as he urges the crowd to join in and sing along while Dave drives the whole unit with his dynamic runs. Their moniker is "Rock and Roll That Relates"; after listening to 'Flying Machine" live, then on CD, I whole-heartedly agree.
"Flying Machine" is the latest release from the veteran Syracuse band, pre-mastered by Steve Schad at Oak Palace Recording Studio and recorded and mastered at Hertel Recording Studios. The opening track, "Easy Man" sets the tone for the entire CD with Dave's crunching power chords soaring into a quick lead section, then softening behind Bob's vocal intro. This piece leaves you wondering just how easy this man is, especially after Dave’s furious solo section combined with Bob’s reading of the lyric seemingly changing personality from verse to chorus. The rave-up title track I liked better live, like most of the selections here they thrive with the visual energy of Cousin Jake, although Donny's backing vocals really shine in the studio given the proper mix. Track three, "Misery" reveals another of Cousin Jake's influences, down and dirty southern rock reminiscent of a slightly harder Marshall Tucker when Dave cuts the slide loose and Bob's vocal turns to a growl. Number four, "Play Or Die" opens with Dave channeling his internal Trower/Hendrix, both through his lightning licks and soulful vocal. If you need to flex your influences Mr. Cook surely chooses a few right from the top of the all-time list. "Getting Stranger", the fifth cut cuts to the heart of a rock and roll relationship leaving enough room for your imagination to decide if it’s a girl or a bandmate they’re talking about. The dissonant chord structure and thunderous rhythm section twists the concept deeper into dysfunction, definitely my favorite track! “Lay With Me” closes this six song offering showing off Cousin Jake’s softer side. Bob's convincing lyric, Dave’s weeping pedal work and Donny’s tasteful touch put a nice finish on this, the third CD from Cousin Jake.
A great listen from these Syracuse veterans! Definitely a must-have for fans of guitar-driven blues rock and one to keep handy for those classic road trips. Check out Cousin Jake live and pick up a CD or two, you won’t be disappointed!

To quote our last email: Thanks to all the folks who came out in Camden and heard us, and especially to Dave Silliman who is trying to do good for the whole town and provide some fun and food for anyone who is stopping by. REALLY good chicken and amazing burgers, Dave! And some damn fine produce at the farm market, too. There's nothing like a tomato as big as your head.
Keep in touch with us, folks! We encourage everyone who signs the guestbook to leave an email address, and we'll keep you posted with upcoming gigs, band news, gossip and more - but not those bad email jokes ALL YOUR OTHER FRIENDS send you. if we're drunk enough we'll attach a smiley, but that's as bad as it gets. Honest.

Well, family members, big thanks to everybody who came out to the State Fair and boogied with us at Heroes & Legends Cafe! We definitely had a great time and it was terrific seeing the place packed. But we're just starting a big week with Labor Day - take a look at the calendar page to see we're playing Wednesday and Saturday this week, too!
Here's a little idea you can store away for next year - when it comes time for the New Times to take votes for best Rock Band in Syracuse, it's time for everyone to vote for COUSIN JAKE! It's time to get the media to acknowledge the power, baby! (Not TOO egotistical, are we???) But, like they say - it ain't braggin' if it's true.

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61715972009-08-26T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:36-05:00GREAT time at Inner Harbor

Hey, folks, thanks to everyone who turned out at the Inner Harbor show and caught our set - Rick & Amanda, the guys from Smart Alec, our family members (literally), and even Joanne Demma who INSISTED I tell her whether we were playing and THEN barely got there to catch our last couple songs, harrumph, harrumph, thanks for coming. Man, what fun!
The day was not promising when it was annoying rain all day, grey and depressing, but right before 5:00 the sky cleared for a gorgeous view over the lake and excellent conditions for bands to jam - and jam we did! Kudos to both Tipp Hillbillies and Los Blancos for great performances, and we got a few cheers ourselves.
And of course, the headliners, Little Feat, well, we're not worthy. They were superb as always, even though they were missing their longtime drummer Ritchie Hayward due to a fight with liver cancer. They not only mentioned fundraising but had a giant card (which I never found?!?!!?!) for everyone to sign. But the show was killer - even mixing in jamming covers (Get Up, Stand Up) with such classics as Skin It Back and Spanish Moon (HEY - which one of you guys borrowed my copy of "Representing the Mambo"???). These guys have inspired more jam bands since LONG before the term was coined than damn near anyone - if you didn't go, beat yourselves with the nearest flail!
We had a REALLY good time, folks, thank you all.

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61715962009-08-24T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:36-05:00More news from around the van

Hey, family members! We had some odd bits happening in online postings touting the Inner Harbor show, mentioning other bands (Tipp Hillbillies, Los Blancos) as performing before Little Feat at the Inner Harbor, but no mention of Yer Cousin. Well, this was just an oversight, because we ARE playing the 26th, but the Hillbillies are going on before us. FEAR NOT! Our apologies for not yelling loud or fast enough to get all the info to all the sources of news.
But hey, remember not only to come down and rock out at the Inner Harbor, but save some of your State Fair tickets for the last day, because we'll be doing two shows at the Heroes & Legends cafe' Labor Day afternoon and evening. We'll do our later set right before Kenny Wayne Shephard hits the big stage, too.
We've got more gigs rolling in for the fall, so keep an eye on the gig calendar and remember to mouth off in our guestbook, too!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61715952009-08-08T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:36-05:00Saturday was one helluva day

Well, we sure had a great day on Saturday. Harry Short managed to throw together a great bike event in Hannibal, and we want to thank him and everyone at the American Legion for a well-organized event and making it easy for us to entertain the crowd - who seemed to be having a very good time - thanks, folks! And of course, thanks to everyone who talked to us about booking other dates, bought CD's or t-shirts, and just plain showed up to honor our many veterans and men and women in active service to our country.
And after a fast scramble to pack up we ran down to Baldwinsville to Papermill Island, and blasted out another show opening for Kashmir, a great bunch of guys as well as an impressive act. The Budweiser Amphitheater is a truly fine summer venue for performers and audience members alike. Thanks again to everyone who came out, those who complimented our show, the ladies from the members of Kashmir who graciously allowed us to stash CD's and t-shirts in their booth, the stage crew who were just terrific (seriously, thanks guys!), and Mike Chiamotti (forgive my crap spelling!) who has such faith in us AND offered to hire us to play the NYS Fair again this year at Heroes & Legends!
We absolutely had a great day!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61715942009-08-03T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:36-05:00Big doings in August!!!

Well, family members, it's already been a hectic schedule for us but we're just getting warmed up here. We have two monster shows coming up - opening for Kashmir at the Budweiser Amphitheater on Papermill Island (Lock 24) in Baldwinsville, and we just found out we're opening for LITTLE FEAT at the Inner Harbor later this month! Meanwhile we have this week's show at Quaker Steak and more going on every weekend for a while. Keep an eye on our calendar page!!
And don't forget, don't just slink off into the night, sign the guestbook and be loud and proud. And get yourself a copy of FLYING MACHINE, our new CD with new original songs that will rock your socks off.

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61715932009-07-18T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:36-05:00Great times!

Hiya, folk! We've been having a very busy month and we're having a blast in the process. Thanks to everyone who stopped out to the Mapleview Inn, and to the very nice folks out in Westmoreland who invited us to their home for their party. And of course, to all the lunatics who partied out at Andy's Marina party, what a great time! You guys really know how to party properly - or should we say improperly!?!
In case you heard the rumors, yeah, Bob went to the doc and found out his three-week cold left some damage on his throat, but if you heard him sing last Saturday at Andy's, you know it's not slowing him down any. We're still rocking hot, hard and heavy for y'all. Don't forget to email Dave and order your NEW CD - Flying Machine, a mere $10 with free shipping and handling. We're already gearing up to put out a whole new disc late this year, so you know the train kept a rollin'!
Keep checking our calendar page for upcoming gigs, and come on out to join the party!

Just have to say thanks to all the people who were at County Line Choppers and at Quaker Steak, for the applause and enthusiasm. You're why we're doing this stuff, folks!! We had a great time and hope you did, too.
We want to remind everyone that the new CD IS COMING and we hope to debut it very soon. It'll have all new songs co written by Dave and Bob and featuring the new lineup of Dave, Bob and Don. It will kick ass.
Everybody in the southern regions - we'll be in Ithaca on Saturday, check the calendar!

Yes, family members, it's true. At this year's Red Cross fundraiser at the Landmark Theater, Bob's employer (Lockheed Martin) entered their band, Defense Mechanism among 14 contenders in the Rockin' The Red Cross Battle Of The Bands. The judges included critic Mark Bialczak of the Post-Standard, and local performers John Celi and Letizia. Bob was voted BEST MALE LEAD VOCALIST in the show.

So now you all know one more reason to come out and see COUSIN JAKE!! ;)

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61715892009-04-14T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:36-05:00Summer is a-comin' in!

Hey, there, Family members! Just a reminder to keep an eye on our gig calendar page, because we're loading up the gigs fast! We've got stuff going on all over Central NY - Quaker Steak in Syracuse, The Sweet Spot in Ithaca, Pat's party out at County Line Choppers, and in Rochester, Williamstown, Weedsport, Old Forge, Alex Bay, and plenty more! And for a little twist, Bob is going to sing at the Red Cross Battle of the Bands again this year on the 24th. If you want to see 14 bands for ten bucks at the mighty Landmark Theater, call up the Red Cross and ask about tickets - you'll party AND do some good. Meanwhile, come on out and boogie with COUSIN JAKE!!

Well, folks, in case you write on your calendar in pen instead of pencil, we're sorry to say a date has changed for August.
Our gig at Papermill Island has moved from August 1 to August 8, as the promoters had to move the Kashmir performance. But fear not, Yer Cousin will be rocking the Amphitheater all the same! Come back to our calendar page often to see where we're playing next - summer fills up fast.

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61715852009-03-15T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:36-05:00Big time at Seeber's

We want to thank everyone who came out to Seeber's and kept the place ROCKING all night! Of course, we want to thank Rick & Amanda, and Laurie, Romy & Holly, and everybody who got up and shook it, and talked to us, and thanks for all the applause for our new originals!
We'll be hoping to see everybody next month at Quaker Steak - watch the gig calendar.

Wow, mom! Cousin Jake is now posted on YouTube - thanks to several pals we have footage from the NYS Fair and from various other gigs - search YouTube for "Cousin Jake", "KJ6string" or "proudmom76" to find the videos, including some album tracks set to photo montages. Way cool!!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61715772008-10-13T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:36-05:00Advice for the searcher

Hiya, friends. If you're looking over the website and wonder why the calendar might not be showing many gigs, here's the deal. Sometimes we play private events and we don't list them because they're not open to the public. Sometimes it's a surprise. Sometimes they're last-minute and we can't get to the keyboard fast enough because we're too busy recording, practicing or even living our lives. BUT - feel free to look around anytime, thanks for stopping by and please go ahead and sign the guestbook and let us know you were here! And we WILL be playing out where you CAN come and rock out with us real soon! And who knows, maybe you WERE invited to that party, anyway!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61715762008-10-11T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:36-05:00Heckuva Party at DIRT Week!

Thanks to Vinnie, Don, Frank, and all the other fans who were partying like champions on the NYSF infield for our Super Dirt Week shows. Thanks for putting us on the t-shirts. You folks are the greatest and nobody throws a better party or offers the DIRT fans more than Vinnie and the VOODOO LOUNGE! We had a terrific time both nights and kept those cold nights HOT! See y'all again next year!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61715752008-10-01T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:36-05:00Fall upon us!

Well, family members, we're well into the Fall season and Dirt Week is coming fast - all puns intended! We hope to see a huge crowd in the infield at the Voodoo in Vinny's setup.
If you have parties to arrange, events to stage, or a favorite watering hole you want us to rock out for you, just let us know!
Sadly, though, we will also be playing at what was going to be a benefit which instead is now a memorial. Bob Skinner, owner of Skinner's Custom Cycles, passed away on the 30th and there will be calling hours at Bush funeral Home 2-5 this Saturday in Elbridge. We'll be playing the benefit the 11th, see the calendar page for more details. Skinner was a longtime friend of the band and a great guy, and will be sorely missed.

Guys, we had a terrific time at Rick's party! Your kid is going to grow up into a monster guitarist, too! Hope everyone enjoyed themselves and Congratulations, Rick, you old fozzil!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61715732008-09-11T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:36-05:00commentary from the underling

Hey, there, folks! While playing at the Plantation in Ithaca, we got a comment about one of the photos on the site here, the amplifier dial labeled LOUD and set to 11. Now if you don't already get the joke, OK, you've probably never seen an amplifier up close, let alone seen the movie This Is Spinal Tap. But the guy asking the question was actually afraid we would be way too loud!
Folks, it was a joke. We are definitely not a string quartet, and we're not quiet (!), but we're not trying to cause hearing loss or crack the windows. Just in case anyone was worried.
Hope everybody's still ready to rock and wants to come up to the beautiful Pine Grove Inn to hear us kick it on the 27th!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61715722008-08-26T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:36-05:00Time to eat a deep-fried Oreo!

So, why are you reading this when you should be out at the state fairgrounds, heading toward the West End Bar & Grill to hear us play? Good food, huge selection of cold beer, and Cousin Jake - what more could you possibly want? Wednesday and Thursday nights we'll be ROCKIN'!

What a great party out at the canal in Sylvan Beach! the Boati Gras remains one of the all time best parties, and we thank Kim and everyone for inviting us to play on the lead boat again. We had a terrific time and so did all the partygoers, on and off the boats.

Well, it was a rockin' good time in Old Forge, and thanks to everyone who came up and made Slickers ROCK HARD. What a riot. And we should point out that we also have live recordings of the previous weeks' shows and we will likely be coming up with some new releases of live performances sometime soon! Stay tuned!

Yep, Bob was singing in the Landmark theater, no less, on April 18th kinda for his day job. The Red Cross stages a battle of the bands and asks local companies to pony up $1250 each to send their bands to the event. Bob sang with his coworkers but was proudly wearing his COUSIN JAKE t-shirt the whole time! Maybe we can finagle getting COUSIN JAKE in there next year!
And we've started writing two more new songs for the upcoming CD, Dave laid down some tracks and Bob's sweating out some lyrics for 'em. It'll be great, family!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61715662008-03-25T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:35-05:00Still more laid

Hey, folks. Well we have more in the can for the new CD, rhythm and vocal tracks for two songs so far, more to come.
We really want to thank everyone for coming out to William's Restaurant Saturday, what a blast we had and it's always good to see everybody rockin'! Hope some of the pictures come out so we can see if we can post them! There's plenty of stuff coming up soon - but if you want the band to play this summer, call Dave NOW because we're already booking into September!

Hey folks - you should come on out to the gig Saturday and tell Dave what an old man he is, his birthday was Thursday! I ain't tellin' you his age, you'll have to ask him yourself!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61715642008-03-09T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:35-05:00It's getting laid!

Down, that is - we started recording on Saturday afternoon to get the NEW CD underway! Despite Don's trek across the tundra being pretty tough, we managed to get some stuff on tape, and we're gonna rock your socks off with the new disc. The tracks are down, baby, and the train kep' a'rollin!!

Thanks to all our friends & family Members at the Superswap for whoopin' it up! Hope we will see you at Shifty's! We had a lot of fun as always.
And for all you folks shooting pictures, be sure to call Dave and let him know, we're always looking for good shots to post here.

Thank you from all us Cousins to Hazlitt Winery and everyone who stopped in to hear the band. Man, we had a great time - fine wine, boogying crowd, four encores, not too shabby!! The only complaint was from the cat, and he ain't talkin'. If you don't know what I mean, you'll have to go back to the winery and introduce yourself to him. And special thanks to you folks who left the party and went to tell the local bars about Cousin Jake; wow, man, we love you guys. And don't worry, Dave will get more T-shirts printed up real soon!

Yahoo, Family Members! Thanks for coming out to William's for the party. It might have been freezing outside but inside it was HOT! We had a great time, they invited us back and it's always great watching everybody gyrate!

Hey, family members! Well, the summer is over, and the bike parties have wound down, so we're open to suggestions and invitations for places and events to play. You can email Dave or just put something onto the guestbook pages. We're easy. We're playing Jack's reef tonight, if you're reading this you should be at the bar instead!
Don't forget we're going to be building the new CD soon; we'll keep you posted!

Hiya, folks. Keep your eyes on the website for news of the NEW COUSIN JAKE CD which we're in the process of writing now. Dave is actually letting Bob get his grubby mitts on some song ideas and you never know what will come of it. There's already a couple of songs from back when and new ones are on the way, not even counting stuff Bob wrote! Stay tuned!
Meanwhile, be sure to check in to the calendar page for upcoming shows, we're always happy to see you!

Wow, what a blast, folks. Kim and Sharon were terrific hosts and we didn't realize we were going to be on the lead boat in the 2007 6th Annual Blues & Boati Gras for Sylvan Beach Canal Days. Our hosts were the creators of this particular event, and they have had many regular attendees and contestants in the boat decoration contest. And what a parade of crazed "floats" this was! We rode up the canal from our hosts' camp all the way into Sylvan Beach proper. We had some electrical problems (funky generator) but after getting those worked out (good thing Dave brought a power conditioner!) it was terrific - we played our butts off for hundreds of people ashore and afloat. And when we reached town and parked at the pier, it was one huge dance party.
Don was on vacation so we had Dan Mainville sit in on drums, and he did a great job on everything especially the originals. We expect to play again for the same event next year! What a great time - we'll hopefully have photos to post soon. I recommend keeping an eye on the public calendars for next year's canal days, and of course check our calendar page for gig listings! (Bob)

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61715562007-07-17T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:35-05:00Hiya, folks

Say - we always get questions from people asking why we don't play at their favorite tavern. Well, if it's your favorite tavern, why not ask the owner why he doesn't hire us? If they know their crowd wants to hear us, it means much more than us telling them we're wonderful (even though we are).
So, we'll be happy to play your watering hole, but we can always use a good testimonial! Tell 'em what they're missing! And thanks, family members.
If you take a look at our Calendar page, you'll see we're doing several parties over the next few weeks, so be patient and we'll rock you as soon as we can! Keep the date open on August 3rd!

In other trivia, Bob has FINALLY used up the roll of film and should have a few more shots of the Long Island Bike Fest, along with other gig shots, some of which might show up here - so some of you family members might be even more famous than ever! Stay tuned!

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61715542007-05-20T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:35-05:00Big Time at Balsam Inn

Wow, what a great time we had at the Balsam Inn. We want to thank all the folks who turned out, all the babes wearing band t-shirts, all the compliments and all the partying going on! Thank you! First time Dave and Bob had ever been in the place, but hopefully not the last!
We'll have more bar and event dates in the near future, but summer party time looms large in the calendar - you should hire us to play YOUR event, it guarantees you a good spot and a damn good party! ;)

Hey, Family members - if you see us play and shoot some photos of the gig, send us a copy! If you shoot a picture of us we can post we'll credit you on the site and give you a t-shirt, or something. Email files to Dave at cousinjake@a-znet.com

Cousin Jaketag:cousinjake.com,2005:Post/61715522007-05-07T20:00:00-04:002020-01-24T08:57:35-05:00What a party!

Well, Long Island Bike Fest was a blast, folks, and you should have been there. They staged the event in a water park's parking areas, actually very scenic, and both days were bright and breezy. The big stage and sound system were awesome and we gave them a helluva show (to quote a song!) There were dozens of vendors and dealers there, and the bikes on display were spectacular.
We have to thank Jaws & and Bareback for riding all the way down with us - especially Bareback riding that hardtail all that way - and stuck on the GWB besides! He should change his nickname to Hardass, he is one durable SOB.We also were glad to see frank & michelle made it down.
We're already talking with the organizers about this September, doing it all again! Thanks to the sound crew, the Einstein brothers for putting the event together (no, really, the Einstein brothers!), Bob's pal Rich and his family for letting him visit and everyone there who made it a great time. We'll post photos as soon as we get them. Once again, Cousin Jake has kicked ass! More gigs every week, check the calendar. (Bob)

Well, the band will be traveling to Riverhead, NY for the weekend of the 5th to play at the Long Island Bike Fest (see the calendar for a link) which will be thousands of bike enthusiasts having a blast at a two day event that just happens to include some of the best rock and blues anywhere - COUSIN JAKE! We'll let you know how it goes if you're not taking the fine ride down.

Hi, family members! The band is going to be playing all over, just like usual in the summer. Thanks to Brad for the compliments in the guestbook, and we hope to play Dirt Week again this year, what a blast! Helps if your hands aren't freezing, though! All the lake rats and hoi polloi (wow, where'd that come from?) alike can go get spiffed at Big Bay when we play up there, everyone's welcome. But take care of yourselves so you can boogie again later! -Bob

Just something to remind everyone about sending email to the webpage: while we all like funny emails and cool web links, if you send them here we can't really do much with them. You can send us messages all you want, but you'll waste your time sending fun links or cartoons. Don't let that stop you from saying hi!! And by ALL MEANS if you have band photos, let us know! Thanks (Bob)

We'll keep y'all posted with new gigs - just get on the mailing list and it'll happen automatically. Our best to everyone in our Family! (Bob)

Thanks to all the family members who stopped out to Starz On The Lake. You got to not only see Don sing his first performance of one of Dave's great tunes, Keep The Change, but the beginning of the restoration of the songlist and a hint of new songs to come! Can you say three part harmonies??
Don't forget to click the calendar link to see the upcoming gigs. We'll be stompin' at each and every one.

Hi, folks! Well, the new lineup is official: the inimitable Dave Cook on Guitar galore, and the amazing, spooky Jimi Hendrix impersonation; Bob Volk on bass and vocals; and the new kid, Don Gillette on drums and vocals. Don is a percussion monster and sings a nice ditty, too - and hey, three part harmonies could happen at any time! We expect great things.
